Santa Fe, NM (KKOB) – A 15-year old teenaged boy has been arrested by Santa Fe Police in connection with a drive-by shooting Thursday night October 15 in the 1500 block of Senda Del Valle in Santa Fe. Police identified the teen as Jimmy Flores of Pecos, NM.
Santa Fe Police Detectives reported that an occupied home and vehicle had been struck by gunfire, fortunately no one was injured.
Detectives located the red GMC truck they say Jimmy had driven during the drive by shooting, abandoned in the Cottonwood Village Mobile Home Community near Agua Fria Street and South Meadows Road. Detectives with help from New Mexico State Police contacted the owner of the truck in Pecos, who reported their grandson Jimmy drives the truck and told them he had stayed in Santa Fe the night before with another family member. Authorities were able to locate Flores at Pecos High School and he was taken into custody without incident.
