SANTA FE, N.M. — Santa Fe Police are searching for a woman accused of injuring two people during a stabbing incident earlier this week.
Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Marlena Clare Tenorio, 32, in connection with an incident that occurred shortly after 1 a.m. on Oct. 14 near Lucia Lane and Village Loop.
According to police, officers responded to reports of a stabbing and found an adult woman suffering from multiple non-fatal stab wounds. An adult man was also found with injuries that were described as non-fatal.
The female victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators say Tenorio had already fled the scene before officers arrived. A crime scene team processed the area for evidence while officers launched a search for the suspect, but those efforts were unsuccessful.
Police have since obtained an arrest warrant charging Tenorio with:
- Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon
- Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon Against a Household Member
- False Imprisonment
Authorities say Tenorio’s whereabouts remain unknown, and detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigations Section are actively working to locate her.
The investigation remains ongoing.
