Belen, NM (KKOB) – Valencia County Sheriff’s Office along with the Los Lunas Police Department arrested two people in connection with drug activity in the county. After a months long investigation, on Wednesday October 14, deputies and officers executed a search warrant in the 1400 block of Highway 116 in Belen. During the search a man identified as Bobby Lord was arrested along with a woman identified as Chelsi Garcia. Authorities were also were able to recover weapons, as well as meth, fentanyl and suboxone.
Lord, is a convicted felon who was on probation and Garcia had several arrest warrants on felony charges. Both are being held in the Valencia County Detention Center without bond.
