Bosque Farms, NM (KKOB) – The Bosque Farms Village Council has voted to begin legal proceedings aimed at removing Mayor Chris Gillespie from office. According to council documents, officials allege Gillespie repeatedly failed to follow council directives, made appointments without proper approval, and violated state open meetings requirements.
The council is now asking a district court to review the allegations and determine whether removal is warranted under New Mexico law. The mayor has not publicly commented on the council’s action.
