Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The rain over the last few days has caused some challenging conditions at the Cerro Colorado Landfill, creating delays for some solid waste customers. All the rainwater created safety concerns for trucks stuck in the mud resulting in some trash pickup delays. Residents whose trash was not picked up Wednesday should have their carts on the curb for pickup today. Crews will continue working to complete Wednesday routes until sundown. Additional rain in the forecast today may cause delays for Thursday trash days.
