Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – A surge of monsoonal moisture will bring widespread showers and thunderstorms with lengthy periods of rain. Heavy rainfall will increase the risk for widespread flooding, especially in areas with recent flooding, urban drainages, low-lying areas, and around burn scars.
The increasing moisture combined with two merging storm systems will yield a 2 to 3 day stretch of long duration and widespread showers and thunderstorms starting Monday.
