Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A new state office focused on child welfare is looking to add staff as it begins its work in New Mexico. The Office of the Child Advocate was created to provide independent oversight of cases involving children served by the Children, Youth and Families Department. The office says it is hiring for several leadership and investigative positions as it works to establish procedures for handling complaints and reviewing child welfare cases throughout the state.
