CARRIZOZO, N.M. — Law enforcement agencies are searching for an inmate who escaped from the Lincoln County Detention Center in Carrizozo.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has identified the escaped inmate as Ralph Miranda.
According to the Carrizozo Police Department, Miranda was last seen wearing an orange jumpsuit. Authorities are warning residents that he should be considered dangerous.
As officers continue their search, police are advising residents in Carrizozo to remain indoors, secure their homes, and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.
Authorities have not yet released details about when or how Miranda escaped from the detention center.
