Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Heavy rains and flash flooding are now in the forecast for just about the entire state of NM starting today till Thursday. Dangerous monsoon moisture coming into the state with wide spread showers and several periods of very heavy rain in some parts of the state between 4 to 6 inches are possible between the next two days. Flash flooding will happen, wind gusts of up to 50 mph, areas affected by recent wildfires will be affected even more due to burn scars. The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has a Flash Flood Watch for most of the state starting today. Stay weather alert.
