Santa Fe, NM (KKOB) – A state commission investigating Jeffrey Epstein’s activities in New Mexico is expected to release an interim report Wednesday, offering the public its first detailed update on the ongoing inquiry.
The bipartisan Survivor’s Truth Commission was created by the New Mexico House of Representatives to examine past local and state investigations involving Epstein and his Zorro Ranch property in southern Santa Fe County, which he owned until his death in 2019. Commission members say the report was completed ahead of a July 31 deadline but was not immediately released so all members could participate in an in-person meeting. The panel is expected to present its findings to date, provide an overview of records gathered through subpoenas issued to government agencies and other organizations, and outline the next steps in its investigation. The commission’s work is expected to continue beyond the release of the interim report.
