A trial date of March 24th has been set for Isaiah Brown of Bloomfield after a judge denied a change of venue and an evidence suppression motion. Isaiah Brown was charged with two counts of first degree murder in the August 28th, 2024 shooting deaths of Stoney Torres and Jessica Aragon at a home in Bloomfield. Brown and his then girlfriend, Ravyn Burns fled from police and were arrested the following day after a police standoff in Kirtland. According to court documents, police and Brown exchanged gunfire during the standoff, Brown was shot and has since recovered from his wounds. The seven day trial will be held at the 11th Judicial District Courthouse in Aztec.
