Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Carlsbad High School has received a $25,000 donation from Carhartt’s For the Love of Labor grant. The grant will be used to introduce Career and Technical Education programs through the National Center for Construction Education and Research’s High School Builder Program. The program equips students with tools and training to enter the skilled trades. It was designed to address ongoing challenges by removing accreditation barriers and providing schools like Carlsbad High with industry-recognized curriculum, resources, and testing so students are able to graduate workforce ready. Carlsbad High School was one of 15 schools nationwide to receive the $25,000 donation from Carhartt.
