Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Residents in Lincoln and Chaves counties can now apply for disaster recovery grants to help with home repairs or rebuilding after fires, flooding and severe storms hit the areas in 2024. Assistance comes through the $100 million New Mexico Home Recovery Program, an appropriation from congress. Homeowners must meet eligibility requirements to receive assistance and may register online or in person at Roswell’s City Hall or the Village of Ruidoso’s Townhall.
