Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –An officer involved shooting in Roswell left a man dead in the early morning hours Saturday morning. Roswell Police officers were called to a domestic disturbance situation involving a man and a woman. When officers arrived they found the woman outside the residence. Officers called to the man to exit the home and when the man came out of the house he approached officers with a knife. One or both officers then fired their weapons striking the man. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No officers were injured. NM State Police will be investigating the shooting and will release more information as the investigation progresses.
