Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Drivers in Santa Fe will soon get some relief as the long awaited major repaving project on Airport Road begins tomorrow (Wed). The project will include concrete and sidewalk repairs, asphalt restriping and traffic signal detection loop repairs. Work will be conducted in two phases, first from Cerrillos Road to Fairly Road and then from Fairly Road to NM 599. The first phase is expected to go through the end of May, weather permitting. Drivers are asked to be mindful of road workers and plan for extra time during the project.
