Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – A technology company will be making Albuquerque one of it’s U.S headquarters. QuEra, a Boston-based company involved in quantum technology will be making Albuquerque its second headquarters. The state promised $4 million in economic development funds to help QuEra locate in New Mexico as well as a $25 million investment in a “quantum hub” in downtown Albuquerque.
“This partnership brings infrastructure to New Mexico that fills a real gap in getting quantum technology to market. With the help of our New Mexico partners, QuEra’s vision is to bring more resources to New Mexico in the coming years and make the state a national hub for neutral-atom quantum computing.” said Nate Gemelke, Chief Technology Strategist of QuEra Computing.
