Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Lincoln and Chaves County residents who lost food due to Winter Storm Fern have until Monday, February 23rd to request emergency replacement of their SNAP benefits. The NM Health Care Authority is providing the emergency support to help families recover from storm-related losses. Replacement benefits are available for SNAP households in zip codes 88317 and 88350. For those affected you can call your HCA office or visit in person in Alamogordo or Ruidoso Downs.
