Valencia County, NM (KKOB) -A trailer fire has claimed the lives to two people in Valencia County. According to fire officials, firefighters from Valencia County, Rio Communities and Belen were called to a fire with possible victims inside on Storey Avenue in the community of Casa Colorada, in Valencia County.
When fire crews arrived, over 75-percent of the trailer was fully involved. One victim was found during the initial entry into the trailer but firefighters had to evacuate due to a partial collapse of the structure. The second victim was found in the kitchen area after the fire was put out.
No information has been released on the victims.
NM State Police and the NM Fire Marshal are currently investigating the fire.
