Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A plea of no contest was entered for a man accused of killing a woman outside the Adam Food Market in January of 2024. Alexander Ortiz, was charged with second-degree murder with a firearm enhancement and tampering with evidence in the shooting death of Nicole Maldonado. Ortiz is currently serving a life sentence for killing his ex-girlfriend, Alianna Farfan. Ortiz allegedly shot Maldonado a week after killing Farfan.
