Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –APD is reporting a 34% drop in homicides from 2024 to 2025 with 2025 cases marking a 46% decrease in homicides since 2022. APD will hold a news conference tomorrow to share end of year homicide statistics and highlight the Homicide Units significant successes in 2025. According to a press release more cold cases and prior year homicides were solved last year than any year in the past decade.
