ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO – The search for actor and director Timothy Busfield has intensified, with the U.S. Marshals Service now assisting Albuquerque police, according to APD officials.
Court records show Busfield is charged with two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one open count of child abuse. The alleged victim is under the age of 13.
Documents indicate the incidents occurred while Busfield was directing the TV drama series The Cleaning Lady. Albuquerque police began investigating the case in November 2024, and the charges were later filed in Bernalillo County District Court.
Authorities have not released details on Busfield’s current whereabouts. The investigation remains active, and anyone with information is urged to contact law enforcement.
