Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Eight Habitat for Humanity chapters in NM are seeking $12 million in state capital outlay with $3 million of that to go to the Santa Fe chapter. Santa Fe’s Habitat for Humanity is looking to build 58 energy efficient homes in the Casa de Todos subdivision off Airport Road on land they already own. The homes will then be sold to local residents who earn between $25,000 and $68,000. If the funds are obtained, construction of homes will begin sometime in 2027.
