Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –This news just in: A mistrial has been declared for Sylvan Alcachupas, accused of shooting and killing the owner of a beloved pizzeria in Albuquerque. The judge made the ruling this (Fri) morning regarding an issue with a jury member. Alcachupas shot and killed Rosario Zito, owner of Giovanni’s Pizzeria in 2022. Alcachupas faces a long list of charges, including first-degree willful and deliberate murder, three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of armed robbery.
