Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A 23 year old Tatum man was found fatally stabbed just after midnight on January 1st in Lovington. Deputies with the Lea County Sheriff’s office responded to Nor-Lea hospital later that morning after reports of a second stabbing victim. The investigation led to four suspects, one of whom, Angel Franco was arrested in Lea County. The other three suspects, Elder Franco, Elman Franco and Maylina Santos were arrested in Ohio by the Erie County Sheriff’s office. Elder and Elman Franco are charged with first degree murder, the other two are facing tampering with evidence charges. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Lea County Sheriff’s office.
