Belen, NM (KKOB) – A joint law enforcement operation in Valencia County has resulted with the arrest of 8 people in Belen in connection with a drug trafficking operation. The Valencia County Sheriff’s Office, Belen Police Department and Los Lunas Police Department, executed a search warrant in the 1400 block of Highway 116 in Belen on Tuesday.
During the search officers and deputies found, 37 grams of fentanyl, 10 grams of powdered fentanyl, 3.3 grams of methamphetamine, as well as arresting 5 men and 3 women in connection with the drug seizure.
All were taken to the Valencia County jail with several drug related charges.
