Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –It’s a new year and a new general manager for the Albuquerque Isotopes. John Traub announced today that he is stepping down from the day to day operations of the Isotopes and becoming team President. Traub has been with the team since 2003 when the Isotopes came to Albuquerque. His duties as Team President will be run out of Albuquerque. Replacing Traub is Assistant General Manager of Baseball Operations, Chrissy Baines. The first female to head the team. Baines has been with the Isotopes since 2004.
