ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque Fire Rescue crews responded to a reported structure fire early Tuesday morning at an apartment building located at 508 Kentucky SE. The call came in at 6:59 a.m.
Ladder 5 was first on scene and reported flames in a single-story multifamily building. Engine 11 followed and initiated fire attack. The blaze was knocked down within four minutes, and damage was limited to the apartment where the fire started.
AFR’s Fire Investigations Division is working to determine the origin and cause of the fire. The affected unit was unoccupied, and no other tenants were displaced. No injuries were reported.
The fire remains under investigation.
