Albuquerque, NM –It’s good news for New Mexicans as natural gas prices remain stable despite rising across the country. Planning for winter gas needs begins in the spring with the company comparing offers from several gas suppliers to lock in best prices. Kyle Brayton, director of gas management at NM Gas Company tells our partners at KOAT, “prices are generally going to be stable and consistent with what we saw last year.” The company says the stability stems from supplies from the nearby San Juan and Permian Basins. To help with higher bills in the winter, New Mexico Gas Company suggests using its budget billing program, which spreads annual expected costs into consistent monthly amounts.
