Albuquerque – Albuquerque fire investigators continue looking into the cause of a house explosion that happened Sunday night in the northeast part of the city. Fire and rescue crews arrived at the home at the 1000 block of Walker NE and found the home had exploded and was fully engulfed in flames.
One person was taken from the home to the hospital with serious injuries.
The neighboring home to the south, also sustained significant damage from the explosion. No reports of injuries from that residence but the occupants were displaced until the structural stability of the home is verified.
