Santa Fe- Most public schools around New Mexico will waive application fees to help students apply to more schools in the state. According to the New Mexico Higher Education Department, since the “Opportunity Scholarship Act” passed, college enrollment in the state has increased the last four years. Students are encouraged to apply early to allow them time to review admission requirements and have better chances for admission and scholarship considerations.
