Las Cruces- New Mexico State Police arrested a Las Cruces man wanted on a nationwide extraditable warrant. According to a press release, NMSP’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit and the NMSP Tactical Unit arrested 28-year old Gabriel Henry Saavedra.
Saavedra was wanted for:
-Kidnapping (1st Degree)
-Battery Against a Household Member
-Criminal Damage to Property
He had been considered armed and dangerous due to having a history of violent offenses, including Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He is now in the Doña Ana County Detention Center awaiting hearing.
