Albuquerque, NM (KKOB)- Albuquerque Police say officers are responding to a small plane crash at Los Altos Golf Course.
Police say the area has been secured while emergency crews assess the scene. New Mexico State Police will lead the investigation into what caused the crash.
Authorities say the plane was a Cessna 400 that had traveled from Wichita, Kansas. Officials say two people were on board, and one person is deceased.
At this time, authorities have not released additional information about the surviving occupant or what may have led to the crash.
