Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Using a drone, Santa Fe Police and the Santa Fe Fire Department successfully saved the life of a 47 year old man yesterday near Las Acequias Park. Emergency crews responded to the scene after reports of an unconscious male in the area. A Drone as First Responder system was deployed to the area ahead of responding units. Officers say the drones aerial perspective helped responders get to the man quickly and begin life-saving care. This marks the first time a life has been saved in Santa Fe with the assistance of a Drone as First Responder System.
