A resolution passed by the Bernalillo County Commission on Wednesday now links Bernalillo County’s economic development incentives to local job creation, small business investment and community benefits. The resolution also requires companies to pay at least 5% of their tax savings into a community benefits fund. The fund help pay for workforce training, small business support, and environmental priorities.
