Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Major League Baseball announced today (Mon) that Isotopes outfielder Zac Veen has been named Pacific Coast League Player of the Week for a second consecutive series. Veen’s Saturday night performance was the greatest in Albuquerque Isotopes history with three home runs, a double and a triple. He set Isotopes franchise records with five extra base hits and 17 total bases in a contest. For just the eighth time since 2005 a Pacific Coast League hitter has claimed back -to-back Player of the Week honors. The Isotopes play in Oklahoma City this week and return to Isotopes Park on Tuesday, August 18th with a six game series against the Las Vegas Aviators.
