Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –An armed suspect was arrested after he barricaded himself inside an apartment in northeast Albuquerque on Sunday afternoon. Officers were called to the 1100 block of Mary Ellen Street after 2pm when a food delivery driver said a resident pointed a handgun at him and fired rounds. The driver was not injured. SWAT officers took over efforts to negotiate with the suspect and were able to arrest him. The suspect is identified as Nathan Burks. Charges are pending.
