ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New Mexico United announced Monday that the club and defender Will Seymore have mutually agreed to part ways, ending a tenure that spanned more than four seasons with the Black and Yellow.
Seymore joined New Mexico United ahead of the 2022 season and quickly became a fixture in the club’s defense. During his time in Albuquerque, he appeared in 133 matches across all competitions, scoring four goals while helping anchor United’s back line through multiple playoff campaigns.
The club acknowledged Seymore’s impact both on and off the field, thanking him for his contributions to the organization and the community throughout his time in New Mexico.
“We’re grateful to Will for everything he gave to this club and our community,” the team said in a statement. “He will always be part of the New Mexico United family.”
Seymore departs as one of the club’s longest-serving players and leaves having made a significant contribution during one of the most successful stretches in team history.
New Mexico United has not announced any additional roster moves related to Seymore’s departure.
