Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The Frijoles Fire in northern NM is now over 15, 200 acres and is 45% contained. Firefighters continue to maintain containment along the western edge of the fire. All of Cundiyo, Cerro Pinon and the Borrego Mesa area, specifically near Forest Roads 440 and 306 are in Set status. Nambe Pueblo Lake remains in Ready status. It was reported Sunday evening that a support crew member died after suffering a medical emergency. Officials have not released the crew member’s identity or details about the medical emergency.
