Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Thursday morning around 11:20 Albuquerque Fire Rescue was dispatched to 9300 block of Claremont NE for a residential structure fire. Thanks to a delivery driver who called 911 and reported a house on fire. AFR Rescue 9 arrived on scene and reported smoke and flames showing. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes but fire damage was reported in the kitchen and carport with water and smoke damage throughout the home.

No injuries were reported. Two dogs were rescued but one dog and two cats are unaccounted for. One occupant was displaced and assisted by Red Cross. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental.
