Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Attendees at this year’s Wild West History Association Roundup from Wednesday, through Sunday, in Albuquerque will be able to travel back in time. Guests will be able to listen to historians discuss topics ranging from Wyatt Earp, to how the West has shaped the United States’ identity. Paul Hutton, a retired distinguished professor of history at the University of New Mexico, will be talking about his book, “The Undiscovered County: Triumph, Tragedy, and the Shaping of the American West. He describes it as a history of the West and how the idea of the West helped to shape our national character and vision, not only of the American people but people around the world.
