Santa Fe, NM (KKOB) – An Albuquerque man is facing several charges related to burglarizing a video game store and trying to break into another one in Santa Fe. 22-year old Nathaniel Carter was arrested when he repeatedly rammed a building where the GameStop is located at College Plaza.
When police arrived, body camera video shows the car ramming into a brick pillar outside the store. An officer was able to arrest him without incident. Before his arrest, Carter was allegedly involved in the burglary of a 8-bit Retro Video games on Cerrillos Road. In that incident, dispatchers learned that the store owner arrived after the alarm went off around 340 a.m on Monday and confronted him inside the business. Police said the investigation remains active, and anyone with information is asked to contact Santa Fe detectives.
