Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – APD homicide detectives are investigating a homicide that happened Sunday night in the Barelas area of Albuquerque. The deadly shooting happened around 8th street and Marquez Lane just before 9 p.m. Sunday night. When officers arrived they found a man in his 50’s shot to death in the intersection. So far, APD spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos says detectives are still piecing things together as the investigation is in the initial stages.
The search for the suspects is ongoing as of Monday morning. The victim’s name has not been released by police.
