Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Bernalillo County is recruiting community members to serve on behavioral health advisory boards. The Behavioral Health Authority Division says the volunteer positions help provide input on mental health services, substance use treatment, harm reduction programs, and DWI prevention efforts. Several boards currently have openings, including seats for healthcare professionals, community providers, public safety representatives, and residents with personal experience navigating behavioral health challenges. County officials say the recommendations provided by these boards help inform decisions on programs and services offered throughout Bernalillo County.
