Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The Sacaton Fire located 15 miles east of Glenwood has now consumed over 9000 acres and is 0% contained. On Sunday, crews put in a direct line along the north edge of the fire to protect cabins in the Willow Creek Subdivision. The community of Willow Creek remains in GO status meaning residents there should leave immediately. Rain did fall in surrounding communities yesterday but the fire did not receive significant rainfall.
