Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Albuquerque Public Schools Board of Education has approved adding another grade level to Roosevelt Middle School. If approved by the Public Education Department, 9th grade will be added at Roosevelt for the 2027-28 school year. The school currently has grades 6 through 8. APS officials say the move provides more options for high school students living near the East Mountain. Roosevelt Middle School is located in Tijeras and has just under 400 students. School officials intend to add one grade level to Roosevelt each year until the school has grades 6 through 12.
