CLOVIS, N.M. — Clovis police are investigating a deadly shooting that resulted in a vehicle crashing into a home late Monday night.
According to the Clovis Police Department, officers were dispatched just after 11 p.m. on June 29 to the area of 14th and Hull Streets after receiving a report of a vehicle that had struck a residence.
When officers arrived, they found a white SUV at the scene along with a 28-year-old man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to Plains Regional Medical Center and later transferred to a hospital in Lubbock, Texas. Authorities say he died from his injuries.
Detectives with the Clovis Police Department are continuing to investigate the incident. No information about possible suspects or circumstances leading up to the shooting has been released.
