According to police, three of those arrests happened Saturday night and early Sunday morning, bringing the total for the week to eight.
Officers say one of the incidents began as a crash near St. Francis Drive and Paseo de Peralta. Investigators were told one driver left the scene, and officers later located the vehicle.
The driver, identified as 32-year-old Christopher Martinez of Santa Fe, was arrested on multiple charges, including aggravated DWI, leaving the scene of a crash, and careless driving.
In a separate case, officers conducted a traffic stop after a driver was seen striking a median near Rodeo Road. Police identified the driver as 31-year-old Gabriel Zamudio, who was arrested on charges including aggravated DWI and traffic violations.
Early Sunday morning, another driver was stopped after reportedly running a stop sign near Alameda Street and Don Gaspar Avenue. The driver, 23-year-old Cody Garcia, was arrested on suspicion of DWI and a traffic violation.
All three individuals were booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
