ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — PNM is promoting tools designed to help customers better understand and manage their electricity use, with the goal of lowering monthly bills.
Through its My Energy Usage platform, customers can view detailed information about how and when they use electricity, including estimated breakdowns by appliance and monthly usage trends.
The tool allows users to track consumption and identify ways to cut back, such as reducing energy use from devices that are not in use.
“Knowledge is power, and understanding your energy habits is one of the easiest ways to manage your monthly bill,” said Mario Cervantes, PNM’s Director of Customer Experience. “These tools give customers the information they need to make choices that fit their household.”

Eligible customers can receive monthly usage reports via email or by logging into their accounts. PNM says the service is available to most customers at no additional cost, with plans to expand access to solar and electric vehicle rate customers.
The company also says its upcoming SmartMeter rollout will include proactive usage alerts and more detailed daily tracking to help customers avoid unexpected costs.
