Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A fast-moving fire swept through a mobile home park in Alamogordo Sunday evening. The fire began in a single home and was fueled by strong winds that ultimately destroyed several mobile homes. One firefighter was transported to the hospital suffering smoke inhalation while battling the fire. He was later cleared and released from the hospital. Officials have urged the public to stay away from the area as an investigation into the cause of the fire has begun.
