Santa Fe, NM (KKOB) – Santa Fe Police have arrested a woman following a rollover crash early this morning. Officers say the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. near West Alameda Street and Camino Alire, where a vehicle left the roadway and came to rest along the bank of the Santa Fe River.
Police say the crash was first reported through an automatic iPhone alert, followed by a call from a woman asking for help. When officers arrived, they contacted the driver, identified as 25-year-old Angelica Victoria Roybal, who was the only person in the vehicle and reported no injuries. During the investigation, officers observed signs of impairment and say she was unable to safely operate a vehicle. Roybal was arrested and is facing charges of DWI, reckless driving, and possession of an open container of alcohol. She was later booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center.
